Amazon Great Indian Festival sale will start from October 17 for normal users and from October 16 for Prime members. Here's everything you need to know about it.

Amazon has announced that it will kick off the most awaited Great Indian Festival sale from October 17, which is a day later than Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale that is set to start on October 16. While Flipkart’s sale will end on October 21, Amazon is yet to reveal the end date of the Great Indian Festival sale.

The Amazon sale will start 24 hours early, ie on October 16, for Prime members. The e-commerce giant has partnered with HDFC Bank for the Great Indian Festival sale, to offer customers an instant 10 per cent discount on any purchase made via HDFC debit or credit card. Bajaj Finserv customers are being offered a credit limit of up to Rs 1,00,000 and no-cost EMI offers during the sale.

Amazon Pay users can unlock daily shopping reward benefits of up to Rs 500 per day.

Prime membership is available in two tiers: monthly at Rs 129 and yearly at Rs 999. The membership includes a number of benefits like free one-day shipping, early deals, access to Prime Video, access to Prime Music and more. Notably, the Prime membership is an auto-renewing service, so if you do not want to avail the benefits after a certain point in time you will have to manually cancel it so that you are not charged any additional fee.

Deals you shouldn’t miss

Amazon has revealed a number of deals it will be offering during the Great Indian Festival sale. These include the Samsung Galaxy M51 at its lowest price ever, the Redmi Note 9 Pro at a discounted price, iPhone 11 at a discounted price and OnePlus 8 at a discounted price. Mi laptops will be made available with no-cost EMI and exchange offers.

OnePlus Y-series 43-inch TV will be made available at Rs 23,999. Echo Dot Smart Home combo including an Echo Dot third generation and a Wipro Smart light will be made available at Rs 2,299. Amazon will also be selling its own AmazonBasics dishwasher at Rs 27,999, during the sale.

Amazon will be launching its Fire TV Stick Lite with Alexa voice remote Lite during the sale. OnePlus 8T 5G, which will launch on October 14 will also be made available during the sale. Apart from this, the latest season of the hit show, Mirzapur will release on October 23. For the gamers, a new Phantom Red Xbox One controller will also launch during the sale.

The company has revealed that it will be offering phones at EMIs starting at Rs 79, with up to Rs 13,500 exchange offers and protection plans starting at Rs 49. Laptops will get up to Rs 30,000 off, headphones at up to 70 per cent off, smartwatches at 70 per cent off and camera devices at up to 60 per cent off.

Water purifiers will be made available with a discount of up to 50 per cent and smart lights with a discount of up to 70 per cent. The company will be offering an extended warranty on appliances starting at Rs 99, no-cost EMI starting at Rs 399 per month, 48 hours installation and scheduled delivery and exchange offers of up to Rs 18,000.

Echo smart speakers, smart displays and new launches will come with a discount of up to 50 per cent. All Fire TV Sticks will be offered with a minimum discount of 40 per cent.

Gaming category will get a discount of up to 55 per cent and the software category will get a discount of up to 70 per cent. Apart from all of this, Amazon will also be running a few Golden Hour deals exclusively on its mobile app from 8 PM to midnight.
